Spott offers a wide variety of existing widgets for different purposes. There are specifically designed widgets for social media, widgets for products, or just general widgets that could be used for all purposes. These widgets can be found in the Widget Library.
To use these widgets, you must first import them into "My Widgets". In this article, you will learn how to do it yourself!
Importing a widget
Step 1: Go to the widget library
Go to the Widget tab. Then in the left sidebar, click on Widget Library.
Or click here to go straight to it.
To make it easier to browse the available widgets, you can select a category to see the widgets relevant to your use case.
Step 2: Select a widget you want to import
When clicking on the widget, you will go to its detail page. If you like the example widget, you can import it into your own library in the next step.
Step 3: Import it!
Simply click "Import this example" to continue.
You will be asked to give it a new name, and if you wish you can place it in another category. Then click "Import" to finish.
That's it, you are now able to customize this widget and use it in the Studio.
