12 ) Where can I invite other team members?
Want to share the tool with your colleagues or friends? Great news!
You can invite your team members here.

13 ) How can I add my products and assets?
To create interactive content, you'll need products or assets (call-to-actions) to tag on your awesome content. Next to products, you can also add other assets like call-to-actions or buildings, people, etc.
That is why we will use the more generic term assets covering more than only products.
Every asset has information attached to it, these are parameters. Next to the default asset information such as an image, title, and URL. Spott is structured in a flexible way to add any parameter of your choice. Some examples of this can be the number of calories in a meal, the amount of horsepower of a car,... and other parameters that are completely adjustable to your needs.
14 ) How can I create assets?
There are a few ways to add assets into Spott by:
- creating your assets manually in Spott
- attaching your product or asset feed, which keeps your product information up-to-date in your interactive content
15 ) How can I search for an asset or product?
Because of the high flexibility possible in assets, searching for the right asset is just as easy. On the assets overview page, you can create filters based on your own parameters.
Segments
You can also create segments, these are dynamic groups of assets that update with your defined filters. This means that if your asset is updated manually, via API or a Feed Sync, it may change its presence in the segment.
16 ) Why is it better to set up my product feed?
Adding your own product feed will allow you to use your products from your own product database. This means that you don't need to add all products manually, but you can always work with all the products that are available.
Find out more on linking your product feed in this article.
17 ) How can I set up my multi-language product feed?
Check out our guide here on how to add multilingual feeds so that your asset is available in multiple languages.
If you prefer to watch a video guide, you can find the video here.
18 ) What is the difference between tooltips, cards, and closet style?
There are different ways of visualizing an asset: cards and markers with tooltips. Cards will be shown in the top left corner of your video player and are great to use on assets used throughout multiple shots in your video. While markers with tooltips are a great way to stick to a visible element in your video or image.
The closet style is great to use if you prefer to add a less intrusive way to showcase your products or other call-to-actions. Your audience can decide to open or close the closet. :)
19 ) When shall I use Javascript or iFrame?
There are two ways to embed images: with javascript or with iFrames. While both give identical results, Javascript is the preferred method because it actually puts the image on your page.
This means that for Javascript:
- Your images will load faster on your website
- It is better for SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
- Your image will look better on small screens
- It is more flexible than using big iframes because you can add your own styling to the image or video.
20 ) How can I publish my content via embed the codes?
To share your image or video, you'd need to generate an embed code that you can then paste onto your website editor. Click "Share" in the top right corner of the tagger. Then click on "Embed".
A modal will appear where you can make changes to the visualization.
You can preview your interactive content by hitting "Preview" next to the "Share" button.
The next step is pasting it onto your website editor where you want the image or video to be published.
Feel free to reach out if you need any assistance, happy to help!
